How does the manufacturer of canned skinless sardines remove the skin?
I am wondering if a chemical is used to strip the sardines of it's skin. Also, are the cans coated with plastic? I am referring to canned olive oil or soya packed sardines.

- They put them in a huge tumbler, and when they come out workers peel them right off. I saw it on the tv show "How it's Made"
